Amadeus Innovates To Empower Indian Travel Consultants With Unmatched Range Of Solutions
Ahmedabad, September 8, 2009: Amadeus India, today, introduced a comprehensive range of software products and automated solutions that will significantly enhance the value offered by travel consultants across India. The new range of travel solutions will be delivered through the Amadeus GDS platform and will provide access to products from over 790 airlines, 262 hotel chains accounting for over 82000 properties and over 30 international car rental companies. In addition, the new range of solutions being introduced includes booking of Indian Rail tickets, a comprehensive self-booking tool for corporates & TMCs and a state of the art automated back-office system.

The state witnesses a large inflow of Non-Resident population during the religious festivities as well as a large percentage of Medical tourism and corporate travellers. Apart from providing the largest network of airlines and hotels, Amadeus GDS has further leveraged technology to enable travel consultants to book Net Rates through the Hotel Store Locator, provide a unique travel insurance solution and introduce a complete Graphic User Interface (GUI) solution for the Consolidator and Sub-agency Business that helps increase efficiency and time.
The new offerings in the product basket include solutions such as the Amadeus Fare solutions, Amadeus Ticket Changer, Traveltainment, Custom Desktop, AQC, Activities & Entertainment, CRM, Campaign Management, Call Centre Solution, Amadeus Scripting Solution, Amadeus services in the Non-Air world and Amadeus Rail.
