Amadeus named 'Best GDS Of The Year' at TAAI awards 2010

TAAI recognises Amadeus as the GDS of choice for travel agents across India

New Delhi, August 16, 2010:Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, has been awarded the prestigious 'Best GDS of the year' title during the 2010 TAAI Travel Awards at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The awards were a part of the India Travel Trade Expo (ITTE), and aimed to honor organisations and brands which contribute to the travel industry and society in general and have carved a niche through their innovative business acumen.

The TAAI awards 2010 were presided over by Mr Chhagan Bhujbal, Deputy Chief Minister, Govt of Maharashtra, and attended by leading travel industry executives. Mr Rakesh Bansal, CEO, Amadeus India, attended the event to accept the award that was presentedd by Mr Bhujbal, Mr Rajji Rai TAAI President and Mr Sunil Kumar, Hony Secy Gen, TAAI and Chairman- TAAI Awards 2010.
