Ankur Bhatia honoured with 'Entrepreneur of the year – Travel Technology' award

New Delhi, 12, July, 2012: Ankur Bhatia, Director, Amadeus India, was recently honoured with the "Entrepreneur of the year – Travel Technology" award by BIG Brand Research and Brand Academy at an award ceremony held in Mumbai.

On receiving the award, Ankur Bhatia, Director, Amadeus India said, "I am deeply honoured to receive this coveted award and would like to thank the organising committee for recognising and acknowledging Amadeus' contribution over the years. The award ceremony was held on Saturday, July 07, 2012 at Four Points by Sheraton in Navi Mumbai, and the award was given away by celebrity Chief Guest Mr. Anupam Kher. The awards were conferred upon 30 broad categories across industries on the basis of Product/Service Innovation, Features, Marketability, Brand Awareness, Brand Equity, Media Visibility amongst other factors. A few of the major categories were Banking Technology, Digital Technology, Film and video Technology, Nanotechnology & Space Technology.
